Layer Travel only asks for personal information that is relevant to bookings and as required by UK legislation. This is only collected and used in direct relation to your booking quotations and bookings.
We ask for information directly related to your booking and nothing else. This is the name of the lead person arranging a quotation and/or booking and details of party members.
Typically this will include names, date of births, address, telephone number, e-mail address, passport details (required for cruises and airline check-in) any special requirements, for example dietary, mobility assistance.
If the booking is on behalf of an organisation or company we may also need those details too where appropriate.
We retain your details securely for as long as as required by statute or contract but we do not not keep debit or credit card details. The details we hold are available on request and we do not share your details with third parties, other than the Travel Trust Trustees and the operators with whom your booking(s) is placed.
As an existing client we would like to contact you occasionally with our e-brochures or an interesting offer. If you would like to receive these please opt in on our contact us form. We do not send spam and you may unsubscribe at any time.
You can request details of the personal information that we hold about you or exercise any of your data rights, including rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or objection by emailing email@example.com.
You also have the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk).
